The Lemonade Concert and Art Fair is a St. Cloud University tradition. Featuring more then 200 hand made art and craft vendors, a little lemons park for children, local music and theater acts on the commons stage, food venders, the Granit City Days opening ceremony, a performance by the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra, and of coures the best fresh squeezed lemonade you will ever taste!
I had a blast at this one day outdoor festival. With help from my best friend Michelle we conqoured the morning rain during set up. After a couple hours of showers the sky cleared up and left us with a few puddles that provided the little ones with splashing entertainment. The weather grew hot and the crowds of people came in. With music in the background, lemonade in hand, we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and sell my custom art.
Its always the best when you get surprise guests. I wasn't expecting to see anyone I know since the location was far away from home. After the rain went away I turned around to get a look at the crowd and my Aunt Sandy and Uncle John were standing there. Being so surprised I ridiculously screamed with excitement and wrapped my arms around them both. You will see them in the pictures below.
